Monday, February 22, 2010 was Saint Lucia's 31 year of independence. The children and their families enjoyed a picnic at LaTille Falls. Sly Joseph gathered the children and families together to welcome them to his land and gave a brief talk about their history.
There were lots of smiles
And good food
and the children played games
and then it was hammock time
and rest and relaxation
Everyone had a good time.
We had a super time with the kids, just imagine girls in their late 30's and early to mid 40's playing chinese skip with 6 and 7 year olds!!!!
